In an effort to eat healthier and preserve what health I may have left I have decided to go vegetarian for a little while. It has been working out so far. The “I need meat” rage hasn’t kicked in yet. It has been about three weeks so far. I made this awesome meatless burrito yesterday.
It was so delicious I had to make another one.
Oh, and I also had a birthday. I turned 34. Did lots of reflecting. I feel so lucky to be alive and free at my age. As a young black man coming from the neighborhood I came from its an anomaly to make it out of East Flatbush, Brooklyn. I have a thriving business. Well multiple businesses. I’m young, somewhat healthy… I have a great family. I have two awesome kids. I have a nice house in a decent neighborhood. I almost lost my mom last year and I took her out of Brooklyn. I’m pretty content if I had to stop here. But there is way more to come.
The wife took me to Sundial in Atlanta. Which is a revolving restaurant downtown at the top of the Westin hotel building. The view was spectacular. You could see all of the city and even as far as stone mountain. It was nice and I was very much appreciative of it.
We finally finished the deck after a few minor difficulties. Originally we wanted to stain it but after it came out really bad we decided to paint it over. It now looks great. Took a while but here is the end result.
There are a few more things I want to do with the deck to make the perfect backyard oasis but for now this will do.
I’ve been spending a lot of time with xxxx. I haven’t named her yet. She needs a little TLC but money is tight so I’m just doing minor cosmetic stuff for now. Recently I’ve vinyl wrapped the headlights, center console, and front emblem. I’ve changed engine oil, flushed the clutch fluid, and also changed the transmission fluid. Next up is the differential fluid. Eventually I’m going to need a new transmission, head work, and some bodywork. But that will cost a small fortune so in due time.
Also went to my first S2000 car meet. I got there late but the guys that I met were pretty cool. There’s supposed to be another one coming up soon. I can’t wait to go back. Saw so man cool things and there’s a lot of knowledge to get from experienced S2000 guys.
Took my custom target to the range finally. Got a couple dirty looks but I was pretty pleased with myself. I got to target practice shooting at a child murder.
Cianna had her first picture day for school. Her mom got her a stunning dress. I can’t wait to see the pictures.
